"The hotel was close to a Luas pickup...."
Rather 10 out of 10. Reviewed July 2018.
The hotel was close to a LUAS pickup spot that takes you to the train if you need to travel to farther areas in Ireland. The airlink bus transportation to the airport is right across the street and the drop off from the airport is just steps away. Nice rooms.

Location is great - just near the bus stop from the airport. Besides, Amberley House is near to central street, only 5-7 minutes by walk. My special thanks to staff of this hotel, especially to Mr. Josip. All the staff are very smiling, professional and kind people. The room was very clean and Wi fi was fast. Inspite of being near a road, the room was very quiet, no noise. It is a great deal to have a rest after day walking. Hotel is very good.

Great location, the staff was super helpful and even offered to carry our stuff to our room as we had quite a few bags. Room was clean and spacious, as was bathroom. Our room was at the back of the building so we didn’t find that it was noisy at all.
''First trip to Dublin''
Rated 5 out of 5. Reviewed January 2018
So my first ever trip to Dublin has been fantastic, every person we have spoke to have been very welcoming, every pub, bar, cafe, has been lovely. Not the cheapest place especially around the Temple Bar area for drinks or food but definitely couldn’t complain about any establishment for their warming welcome, lovely food. Our 2 night stay at Amberley House was wonderful, I was really impressed with the room. Very clean and modern, they had decent size cups for your brews which is a first for me. Always been a very small cup in any other hotel/b&b. There was also a coffee machine in the room which again for me was a first. We just loved the place and can’t wait to return and next time for longer trip

''Amazing location''
Rated 10 out of 10. Reviewed January 2018
Amazing location, just a 5 minute walk away from all the bars and shops. Only about a 10/15 min walk away from temple bar which we thoroughly enjoyed walking to each night and taking in the city. All of the bus stops we needed throughout our stay were located right by the hotel. We got the 747 bus from the airport to lower Gardiner street for 7 Euro each and it dropped us of right outside the hotel. When we left we also got the bus back to the airport and again the return stop was opposite the hotel on the other side of the road. The hotel is out of the city enough that it’s quiet, but close enough to be a perfect location!!! Have no doubts what so ever that we will return to Dublin very soon and will most definitely be staying here again.

Stayed at this hotel with my partner recently and it could not have been more perfect!! The room was immaculate and the breakfast was incredible. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially the lady on reception when we arrived, I think her name was Lauren? It's in a brilliant location, close to the centre but not too noisy. I would 100% recommend this hotel and we shall definitely be returning!

Best Place To Stay In Dublin!!!!”

These apartments are clean, spacious, luxurious, and have everything you need for a more than comfortable stay, but that's not all you have the best location as they are right off O Connell Street and just up the road from O Sheas bar which had music and great food as well. Nina at check in walked us to our apartment and could not have been nicer. I will highly recommended these apartments to anyone who is looking for centrally located apartments in Dublin with a touch of class

I booked this place to bring my boyfriend for his birthday. Having read some of the reviews I was nervous that it wouldn't be very nice. However I was pleasantly surprised. The room was fresh, new, beautiful & clean. Cleaners came in daily. The hotel staff were very helpful. This b&b is great value for money. Thanks for a great stay.
“Fantastic Value for money”

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of August/ beginning of September. The location is great, near all the main sites and lots of corner shops and pubs around. The airport express bus also stops right opposite the hotel! :) the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly from the minute we checked in by allowing us to do so earlier as our room was ready when we arrived. A special shout to Nicola who was just fantastic. They also provided us with a quiet room as we had requested this when booking. The room was a family one, it was very large and spacious. It had a hair dryer, coffee, tea, biscuits and water. I must say, it was very well decorated and absolutely spotless. I cannot comment on the breakfast as we went out both mornings and didn't try it. Would 100% stay there again.

Amberley House is a lovely converted Georgian townhouse. We stayed in the hotel and had room 14, right at the top of the building, resulting in a very pleasant view of the needle.
Check in was effortless and we were able to check on early on arrival. The reception staff were fantastically helpful and always said hello. Also let us store our bags on our check out day so we could continue our trip without carrying these around.
The room was a great base for our trip and was good value for money. The bathroom was a little small but perfectly functional. We had a fan / heater too to help keep the room cool during the night (fantastic weather made this even more appreciated!).
Breakfast was lovely with freshly cooked full Irish on offer, or any variety of eggs you wanted. Toast, tea, coffee and cereal were plentiful.
A lovely little hotel offering just what we needed for our 2 nights stay!
“Couldn't fault it”

Great location - about 15 minutes walk from everywhere you'd like to be near in Dublin. The hotel looks gorgeous from the outside. The room was clean and large. The basics were provided. For the price, which was quite modest, you really could not fault it. The staff were friendly, and if you are just simply looking for somewhere to stay, Amberley house is perfect. Definitely go to Dublin around Christmas time/New Years. Temple bar is amazing that time, have very fond memories of the trip.

My wife and I stayed here on an overnight trip and I must say the place is great for the price, very helpful, friendly and accommodating staff. The location is a 5 minute walk from Connolly station, granted some say the area isn't the best but I have stayed in similar B&Bs on the road for years without trouble. Also if you are trying to relax like us they even let you order from JustEat and nip down for it, awesome!
“Convenient location with clean but inconvenient rooms”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2016, travelled as a couple
This guesthouse was conveniently located for easy access to the airport (across the street) and easy walking to all the sites of Dublin. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room we had was just ok. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable but the room faced the street which made it very noisy. The room and bathroom were very small, which was challenging for two people to negotiate. The facets in the bathroom were difficult to use since you had to push to turn them on and they would turn off on their own. Perhaps other rooms are more spacious. finally the Wi-Fi was spotty. We ended up tapping into a business free WiFi for better signal strength, unfortunately it turned off during non-business hours.
Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the street.

great value and a welll decorated room. Set in the "budget" area but definately delivered more than I expected. Very convenient for Connolly Station and Trinity College, Saved a fortune on taxi fares by walking everywheree.
