‘Get him groomed’ - Waldorf Barbershop - Westmoreland St, Dublin


Waldorf Barbershop is a men’s hairdressing and shaving salon; trading on Westmorelands Street since 1929. The shop has been restored to its former glory with terrazzo floors, original chairs and wooden units. It is a piece of our Irish history waiting to be discovered. Step back in time and receive traditional old-style treatment and ‘a proper haircut in a proper barbershop’.He also has the option to enjoy a hot-towel head massage or shave. ‘Enjoy a selection of Craft Beers’ - the Porterhouse Temple Bar


When describing craft beer; each beer lover has a unique interpretation and story of discovery to share. Treat your dad to his pick of craft beer at The Porterhouse - which was the first craft beer pub in Dublin. They have parts of their old brewing equipment on display & hundreds of beer bottles from all over the world. Alongside this, enjoy some live music while dining on some traditional Irish favourites. 

‘For the music lover’ - Traditional Irish Music at O'Donoghues


Music is a huge part of Dublin's history and traditional Irish music has a home in O'Donoghue's famous bar. A favourite of Christy Moore and the Dubliners amongst its past. There is live music 7 nights a week so bring your group here for an evening of Irish ‘Craic’.

‘Take him shopping’ – Powerscourt Centre - South Fitzwilliam Street


Take a trip to this gorgeous, airy complex where you and you can take your time shopping. This refurbished 1774 Georgian town house is full of character where you can browse the men’s shops such as Genius, French Connection or All Saints. Enjoy a coffee after your purchase to complete your shopping experience. 


For the sports fan’ - Croke Park Stadium tour


Are you a lover of GAA? If so, take a tour of Croke Park Stadium which offers an access-all-areas trip through the home of Irish sport. You can walk in the footsteps of legends & go pitchside taking a seat in the VIP area with panoramic views from the top tier of the stand; 30 meters above the famous pitch. Tickets must be purchased in advance which cost around €13 per adult.
