Trendiest New Openings in Dublin

There seems to be new places opening every day in Dublin city so we decided to pick out some of the best we noticed this summer.

1. Leon

Leon is known around the world for its healthy take on fast food and it made its first appearance in Ireland this summer. Situated in the heart of Temple Bar, it is an ideal place to pick up something healthy on the go. The menu is based on Mediterranean cuisine and offers a variety of food such as burgers, meatballs, salads and much more. Plans are also in action to open another establishment in Dundrum town centre.

2. Jam Park

Jam Park is situated just north of the city in Swords and it is well worth the trip out of the city. Jam Park is basically a playground catered for adults - you can eat, drink, play and drink all day and all night under the one roof, what more could you want! It is the ideal place to shake up your usual weekend routine and to try out something different.

3. Mad Egg Dundrum

The popular eatery Mad Egg has announced that it will open its third eatery in Dundrum town centre this summer. This Irish free-range chicken brand proved hugely successful in their two city centre locations. Their menu includes amazing fried chicken dishes along with their DIY cheesecake that has taken social media by storm. I think the DIY cheesecake is something that is automatically thought of when the Mad Egg is mentioned.

4. Chew Brew

Chew Brew is Irelands first bubble tea room. I am sure you are wondering what is bubble tea! Bubble tea is the latest trend to hit Dublin along with the likes of bubble waffles. Bubble Tea is a Taiwanese tea-based drink that consists of flavoured milk and sugar that includes a variety of toppings. Chew Brew presents you with an opportunity to switch up your usual coffee routine & to try out something different.

5. Chimac

Chiman is the new Korean fried chicken restaurant to arrive in Dublin located on Aungier Street. This eatery is simple and comfortable and the food is seriously good! You can also order frosé and Jinto (frozen wine and grapefruit cocktail) to complement your food, ideal on a sunny day in Dublin.

6. The Well

The Well is Dublin's newest bar that has opened on Stephen's Green. It is a multifunctional bar that consists of a café bar, coffee shop & restaurant and event space all spread over two distinct areas. You can choose from a range of alcohol, coffee and amazing food which is operated by the Dublin Pizza Company. There is co-working space within The Well also. These multifunctional areas are something that are becoming more common in Dublin, we are excited to see what else is yet to come!
